User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4

Firefox, stops opening new windows either with Ctrl+N or with File->New Window,
after sometime. Usually, I open two are three windows in the begining. Then it
stops opening new windows, as if my commands are trapped. I started having
problems, since I installed SP2.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.I start fire fox with x(x=1 or 2 or 5)
2.It opens the requested ones and stops opening new ones after sometime.
3.I kill firefox and start again. Above steps 1 & 2 repeat.

Expected Results:
It should open a new browser window, every time with Ctrl+N
I have the same problem and it was introduced when I updated from Firefox 1.0.1
or 1.0.2 (I don't remember which exactly) to 1.0.4. Also a new window is not
opened when I click on the Firefox shortcut I placed in the quick launch bar. I
still run WinXP with SP1.

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a

reproduction information if you have it.
