Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.3 StumbleUpon/1.9995 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.3 StumbleUpon/1.9995 When trying to navigate to the extensions site through the Tools menu, my browser is diverted to http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/upgrade/?application=%7bec8030f7-c20a-464f-9b0e-13a3a9e97384%7d asking me to update to the latest version of Firefox, 1.0.4, which I already have. I am still getting this message despite an uninstall and at least 3 re-installs/ updates. I am able to install extensions from mirror sites without any difficulty. However, here's the text from the "About Mozilla Firefox"...Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.3 StumbleUpon/1.9995 -- while at the top it says version 1.0.4 in gray. Huh? Looks like at least part of the program thinks it's 1.0.3 despite all the uninstalls/reinstalls etc. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Go to Tools -> Extensions 2.Click on "Get More Extensions" 3.Get diverted to the "update" page. Actual Results: Unable to get updates/new extensions Expected Results: Detected the proper version of Firefox and allowed navigation to the extensions site Using Noia Extreme 2.82 theme

You're using an extension that changes the UserAgentString of firefox. See how it reads: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.3 StumbleUpon/1.9995 Which makes websites think you are using Firefox 1.03 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 294020 ***
