Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to http://bakkap.free.fr/ 2. Load or Refresh Page 3. Look status bar Actual Results: Status bar doesn't display any informations. Expected Results: displaying someting in status bar (page loading time in this case). Firefox Back And Forward Blazing Fast And pipelining enabled.

How about the about:config pref dom.disable_window_status_change? If that doesn't fix it, have you tried a new profile (with "disable common annoyances" unchecked)? If that doesn't fix it, have you tried an official mozilla.org build?
