This is caused because FireFox is forcing the background color but using my (gtk+) theme's text color, which is light. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:

I can reproduce this using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050514 Firefox/1.0+, set Message Box color to light. Setting "color: black" on labels in the window fixes the problem.
