294785 - 530 - login failed when I try to access ftp site requiring login

I cannot enter the page ftp://myfilelocker.comcast.net. Unlike in IE which
allows access, the expected "Login As" window does not appear. Instead in
Firefox an Alert window appears with the text: 530-Login failed, 530-EMail
address does not exist. Check your spelling? 530 Login incorrect. 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Enter ftp://myfilelocker.comcast.net in the address bar
2.Hit Enter
3.

Actual Results:  
I got the Alert window with the 530 errors described above. That's all.

Expected Results:  
Produce the "Login As" window

This error also occurs with a new Firefox profile.
