When attemping to add the feed:
http://www.mercurynews.com/mld/mercurynews/entertainment/television/rss.xml in
Thunderbird 1.0.2, Thunderbird says "Verifying the feed", and the progress bar
goes to 100%, but it never finishes verifying the feed.  Other feeds from the
same site verify just fine.  One thing that's different about this feed is that
it currently has no articles.  The feed is verified as correct by
feedvalidator.org and works in other RSS readers.

Since the feed will likely have articles at a later date, I'll attach the feed's
xml file as it exists currently.

This has been fixed since tb 1.0.2. WFM on trunk.

Just to be clear, I'm seeing this on TB 1.0.2.  The about box says "version
1.0.2 (20050317)"

With version 1.0+ (20050528), the feed is added.
