User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050519 Firefox/1.0+ Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050519 Firefox/1.0+ As far as I understand, the Preferences Dialog is supposed to resize according to content when you switch a category, but it does not do so. The dialog stays the same, and it seems to be cutting off content in the "Privacy" category. The dialog does resize once you set the 'browser.preferences.animateFadeIn' pref, but then there's still alot of weirdness going on, for example: 1. Start Firefox 2. set browser.preferences.animateFadeIn to true 3. Tools > Options. Switch to "Privacy", notice extra space between the OK/Cancel buttons and the Sanitize button 4. Press OK, open the dialog again. Now the space is gone, but the content is cut off! (Watch the Privacy, Tabs categories) Now the thing is, that after a few tries (opening and press OK) the dialog will resize properly (without extra spaces or cut off content). Reproducible: Always

If you are going to be testing nightly builds on a regular basis I suggest you look at Peter6's daily build threads. He lists common noticable bugs. This is the first bug on the Regressions/bugs from bug #274712 -New Options Dialog list. The Official Win32 20050520 [Trunk] build is not yet out. http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=268207 http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=23 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 283697 *** *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 283697 ***
