The software-update is not an update, yet. It is a simple download-function.

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de-DE; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de-DE; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4

I tried to update firefox 1.0.3 to 1.0.4 using the software-update. The new
installer was downloaded and startet. I had to finish my 1.0.3 browser-session
and I had to uninstall the old 1.0.3 version before installing the new 1.0.4
version. This is not an update-function this was a download. An update should
patch the browser-code and ask for a restart afterwards. A feedback to the user
would also improve this function.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use the software-update
Actual Results:
I tried to update firefox 1.0.3 to 1.0.4 using the software-update. The new
installer was downloaded and startet. If I install the new version while the old
one is installed and running like the software-update suggests I probably can
break my browser-installation.

Expected Results:
A good update-function should patch the browser-code and ask for a restart
afterwards. A feedback to the user would also improve this function.

This bug is directly addressed by the new software update work. Marking FIXED.
