User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4

I just upgraded to FireFox 1.0.4. I have just reinstalled my system so I had no
extensions installed. When I tried to install some of my favorite extension they
downloaded and appeared to install. However After I restarted FireFox the did
not Install. The Extension menu just kept saying "This item will be installed
after you restart FireFox." I restarted FireFox several times. Then I even
restarted my System. Still no luck. I tried to uninstall them. Now the
Extensions Menu says "This item will be uninstalled after you restart FireFox."
I have Restarted my system several times no luck. The extension I tried to
install are downTHEMall! 0.9.4, Tabbrowser Prefernces 1.2.5 and Feedview 0.9.7.
I am on a SUSE/GNU/Linux 9.2 Professional System. The system has a Gigabyte KT
400series Motherboard, AMD Athlon XP 3000+, 512MB ddr 400mz memory. You can
e-mail me about any other details.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install an Extension
2. Extension never fully installs
3. I uninstalled FireFox 1.0.4
4. Removed FireFox directory to from HD to be sure extension files were gone.
5. Re-Installed
6. Same Problem

Actual Results:
Same Problem as stated above. FireFox 1.0.4 will not acknowled that it has been
restarted and either complete the installation or Uninstall extensions.

Expected Results:
Installed the extensions so I could use them :).
I did not have any problems in using Firefox 1.0.4 on Linux. Try a new profile
and make a post at the Mozillazine.org forums if you continue to have problems.
