To allow the distribution of (a subset of) the general settings or just for
backup reason, I believe it would be very handy to have the option of
importing/exporting the FireFox settings.
This would feature general settings but also a cookies override list, and maybe
in an encrypted form, the passwords.

Reproducible: Always
You can always copy corresponding files, you know. See docs on
http://kb.mozillazine.org

Couldn't find dupes (which is strange), confirming.

import/export of prefs isn't really needed, or that useful overall. in the worst case, you can copy the files as needed.
