295045 - when using a java applet window hyperlinks fail after a while

I'm in a Java Applet window (chat room) which has hyperlinks which open a new
window in Mozilla Firefox with website. 

This works fine for maybe 20-30 clicks but then dies. Pop-ups are allowed for
this website (and all derivatives)

Help!

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Java Applet
2.Click on hyperlink in chatroom for 20-30 times
3.Will not open any more

Actual Results:  
Same - can't open any more hyperlinks

Expected Results:  
Continues to open new windows for the hyperlink
