Details
There is currently no way to uninstall global extensions or themes. Several command line options are available (http://www.mozilla.org/projects/firefox/extensions/commandlineoptions.html) but no-one to uninstall an extension or theme. With the options above you can run a installation on different computers by a script. Due to the missing -uninstall-global-extension argument an uninstallation is currently not possible. It's really a pain for network administrators cause they have to do this by hand for every Fx installation. Was this option forgotten when implementing the new extension manager?
Nope. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 272653 ***
