If I send mail to "Ed" with cc: to "Bob" and bcc: to "Dan", both Ed and Bob see
Dan's email address.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.send mail to someone with bcc someone else
2. ask the first guy if he sees the second guy's address
3.



Expected Results:  
hidden the bcc recipient's info

Which Thunderbird version/build? Did you test it with different SMTP servers?

(btw: Please upgrade to FF 1.0.4 or Moz 1.7.8!)

bear in mind it's the stmp server's responsibility to strip off the bcc header,
not Thunderbird.
