It won't give any error, or any reason. I tried it several times and every time this was the case. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to http://www.fmu.edu 2. The browser closes out 3. N/A Actual Results: The Browser closed out and left system memory completely. Expected Results: It should have loaded the site without closing out....

It worksforme using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050522 Firefox/1.0+ ID:2005052221, although it does take quite a long time to load in both Firefox and IE. There are, for example 28 errors in the W3C Validator.
WFM with Mozilla 1.8b1 without Java enabled and Mozilla 1.7.7 with Java 1.5 enabled, maybe related to the Groopz applet loaded by http://vegas.digi-net.com/groopz2/Resources/4013/prospector_home1.js?
I am using Mozilla 1.7.8 to load the website.. I haven't tried it with older versions.
WFM Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/2005052 Reporter, can you try with a recent nightly build and a fresh install with no Java please.
Okay, I tried it with the latest nightly build with Java on and it still closed out. I then disabled Java and the site loaded correctly. I am using the latest runtime for Java that I downloaded two days ago.

Latest plugin is 1.5.0_03 downloaded directly from SUN, they don´t distribute all the latest at java.com. Open Help menu About Plug-ins to see which Java is installed. Download JRE 5.0 Update 3 from http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/download.jsp wfm Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050522 Mnenhy/0.7 Java Plug-in 1.5.0_03 for Netscape Navigator (DLL Helper)
Alright, I didn't know that. I wish SUN would make more sense and update their distro. However, the one on JAVA is version 1.5 revision 2.. I don't see a revision 3.
Download JRE 5.0 Update 3 (= 1.5.0_03) http://javashoplm.sun.com/ECom/docs/Welcome.jsp?StoreId=22&PartDetailId=jre-1.5.0_03-oth-JPR&SiteId=JSC&TransactionId=noreg WFM with Mozilla 1.7.8 with JRE 1.4.2_08 on WinXP SP1.
