User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 Build Identifier: Firefox 1.0.4 When i open firefox after reboot or standby, the browser does not display by bookmarks and the homepage does not come up. When I close the browser and open it a second time, everything seems fine. This is really beginning to irritate me. Secondly, I just noticed that when I close my browser, then hit ctrl-alt-del firefox is still running as one of my processes. Also, there seems to be a tremendous lag when opening firefox at any time. Please give me feedback ASAP. Thanks, Dan Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.open browser 2.close browser 3.open browser 4. close browser 5. ctrl-alt-del Actual Results: process still going and browser seems to function normally after steps are taken. Expected Results: Open the 1st time without stalling. End process when the browser is closed. Open without any lag whatsoever.

Well, the performance difficulties you are experiencing with regards to the Firefox process remaining active after closing the browser and loading speed has been worked at and I no longer experiencing any problems with this in the latest trunk builds. The first problem you mention is one that I have not experienced before. To be honest, your problems sound as though they could be partly related to the resources available on your system - RAM, CPU speed etc. In future please run a search before opening a bug. These issues are common here in Bugzilla. Also, please do not report multiple issues in the same bug. This makes it very hard to track if fixes are required and it is necessary to flag it as blocking releases, for example. For thess reasons -> INVALID

Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050517 Firefox/1.0+ It is best to put each Bug into a separate Report. I have in fact seen the same thing that is described in the first paragraph: Firefox seems to crash whilst loading dynamic libraries when those libraries are on a network volume. Whilst this might be an OS issue, the fact that it rarely happens on the second time of asking suggests that there may be some room for improvement, but this is hardly of great importance.
