User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; pl-PL; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; pl-PL; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 This problem occurs when you download a lot of files. Whem you've got over 200 downloads Firefox get even 200MB of RAM. It doesn't depend on files size but on amount: more downloaded files you get-slower Firefox run. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Go to any page with a lot of pictures (http://images.google.com/ for example) 2.Download all files one by one as you get over 200 downloaded listed in Download Manager 3.Watch how big Firefox is Actual Results: Once I get over 250 RAM used by Firefox because I got about 400 small files listed! I have AMD Duron 1GHz (FSB 100MHz), 256 DDR-RAM, nVidia Ge-Force 2 MX 400 64Mb TV-OUT AGP 4x, (ECS K7S5A (SiS 753), Seagate Barracuda 120Gb

Reporter, what happens when you cleanup the download manager (button on the lower right) ?
