User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de-DE; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de-DE; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 I'm not sure what this causes and if you can trace the problem. I use ff-1.0.4 de-de and if i click on the link, then firefox just closes. I tried the same with IE6 and it closes as well. So i guess its not a Firefox problem, but there should be a way to fix that though. I had the same problem on some other page before but I dont remember the URL. With Firefox < 1.0.4 I never had this experience. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. going to http://www.pc.ibm.com/de/thinkpad/ 2. clicking on Thinkpad R Series 3. Actual Results: Firefox crashes/closes Expected Results: show the webpage

Can you provide a Talkback ID?
WFM with Mozilla 1.8b1 and Firefox/1.0+ Gecko/20050521 without Java enabled and Mozilla 1.7.7 with Java 1.5 enabled, maybe related to the blaze3d applet?

(In reply to comment #5) > @ Gavin Sharp > > Sorry, i dont have this quality feedback agent installed. Is there another way > to trace it? You could manually install it, the best thing would be you test this by installing the FF 1.1 alpha from http://download.mozilla.org/?product=deerpark-alpha1&os=win&lang=en-US. Choose Custom setup type, there you can force that the quality feedback agent gets installed (on Standard setup Talkback only gets installed on 20% of all installs).

Hi, i tried the 1.1. alpha and started the talkback agent, but when i go to the site, then it just closes (firefox) and the talkback agent sees nothing. Here is another site i found that seems to cause the same error: http://www.geoserver.nrw.de/home/OgcWmc.html (this site uses java and ie6 crashes too.) I got java from sun on this comp...i will try updating if theres a new version and tell if that fixed it.

Sorry, it was a problem with Java. No clue what it was, but i uninstalled and reinstalled it. Now the sites work properly for me.
