User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; sv-SE; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; sv-SE; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 Clicking on a link does not open it. Neither in the same, nor in a new window. But mostly (not allways though) it works to open it in a new tab. This problem has occured after some time. At first everything worked fine. Maybe some extension causes this. I have several extensions installed. Re-install (update) on top of the existing Firefox does not help. After closing the Firefox and then pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del to see the running processes then Firefox is still there running. I use Mozilla 1.7.8 on the same computer and Mozilla handles the links correctly. Reproducible: Always

It is not possible to try an other profile. Using [Start] -> Run... -> firefox.exe -profilemanager results in Firefox starting normally i.e. just like using [Start] -> Run... -> firefox.exe Using [Start] -> Run... -> "firefox.exe -profilemanager" results in an error message. Translating the Swedish error message to English should be something like: 'It is not possible to find firefox.exe -profilemanager (or one of its components). Check the path and file name and that all necessary DLLs are present.'

Check the path and file name and that all necessary DLLs are present.' That is because you are using the wrong switch. It should be -Profilemanager. Capitalizing the P is important (case sensitive), IIRC.
OK. Now I can change profile. The new profile works fine. No problems with the links. But in the new profile is very few extensions installed though.
