Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4
In Mozilla (last used 1.8b1) a list of usernames was displayed when multiple
username/passwords entries were saved for a website/form.
This does not happe in Firefox 1.0.4.
I have found that switching on "Save Form Information" will allow me to view the
list of saved usernames by clicking on the username entry field.
My issue is that I do not want "Save From Information" enabled but do want "Save
d Passwords" enabled. The functionality of the two should be seperate to the end
user, therefore I should be able to disable "Save Form Information" without
disabling the FULL functionality of "Saved Passwords". I know underneath their
very similiar but it is an issue for me.
As I said before, this worked fine for me in the Mozilla suite.
The password will be filled in when the full username is entered but only after
this is done.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Tools - Options - Privacy - Saved Form Information - Deselect option.
2. Go to a website/form which has username and password details.
3. Save two different usernames (and passwords).
4. Return to the web form.
Actual Results:
The list of usernames is not viewable. By clicking on username box or pressing
down arrow.
Expected Results:
A list of usernames should be displayed automatically or at least by pressing on
the username field box or pressing the down arrow.

I think this is invalid or a Wontfix. Going to try to check this.
Related to/duplicate of bug 222653?

Reporter should confirm if this is a duplicate.

It does seem to be a duplicate, in that the usernames are not displayed, but
there is no mention to "Saved Form Information", which, when turned on, will
display the usernames as desired.
It is my desire that usernames should always be displayed, whether "Saved Form
Information" is turned off or on.
Bug 222653 also does not seem to be active as it is still marked NEW and the
original posting is quite old at this stage.

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01".
This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.
While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a

you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.
If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
