User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050427 Camino/0.8.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050427 Camino/0.8.4 I notice one can save addresses of replied-to emails (as a setting), to either personal or collected address book, but there is no choice to save an email address from one email in the inbox. why is that? I think it would be great to be able to save email addresses of emails in the inbox, to either personal or collected address books... don't you? thanks! Reproducible: Always

Reporter, If you mean to automatically collect email addresses from the inbox, then that may be enabled by setting the hidden pref mail.collect_email_address_incoming to true. Addresses will then be collected into your collected address book. It is hidden because it was considered an undesirable option due to amount of spam addresses that would be saved. If you wish to simply add an email address to an address book from an email, right click and select add to address book - the drop down at the top of the new card dialog lets you select which address book to save it into. I'm assuming I've understood you correctly and therefore resolving this bug as invalid as it can be done. If you feel I've not understood you then please re-open with a further explanation of what you expect.
