Whenever I try to open a page which uses XForms (while having the XForms 0.1
extension working) the browser disappears and the quality feedback agent pops.

What seems to be somewhat related is that my usual client (Firefox 1.0.4) now
works strangely: I can't open webpages or type in the address bar or even click
the menu - however, the green arrow indicating updates is on and clicking it
pops the update agent - which doesn't find anything - but the green arrow
lingers. Deerpark Alpha 1 works fine otherwise.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use Deerpark Alpha1 and install the XForms 0.1 extension from
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/xforms
2. Restart and go to the same page
3. Open one of the demos (say, the Calculator)

Actual Results:  
The browser window disappears and the quality feedback agent pops

Expected Results:  
Displayed the content or do nothing

please try to install the latest Xforms.xpi from
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/2005-05-23-12-trunk/windows-xpi/

You have to install xforms.xpi that matches the build you're using

indeed, xforms is a work and progress and the 0.1 version can't be used on
latest builds.
