User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 Find background color is kept even after find bar is closed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Find something (it MUST be found in order to produce the bug) 2. Close the find bar 3. Find again (through Find Again menu item, Ctrl+G or F3) 4. Select something
I can reproduce the bug with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050524 Firefox/1.0+ As well as Gecko/20050511 I cannot reproduce the bug in Mozilla, so assuming it has to do with firefox. It should be noted that the "selection color" is reset when you change tab and then go back to the same tab again. It should also be noted that you don't have to close the find bar yourself - the delay close does it too. And at last: I can only reproduce it when using the "Find again" feature..
