print selection prints a blank page if page is white text on black background 
IE6 prints the page fine.
if no selection, page prints fine.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.visit a page with black background
2. select a paragraph of white or grey text
3. print selection

Actual Results:  
got a blank page

Expected Results:  
print the text selected

Have you checked File->Page Setup->Print Background?

makes no difference on or off
even images fail to print

This is now major for me ( no IE to print with now)

Sounds like bug 90434.  Please reopen if it's reproducible in Firefox 2.0.0.3
or later.

I can reproduce this using FF 2.0.0.3 on Windows XP. Further, I printed to a PDF using the PDFCreator package, and then examined the PDF with Acrobat reader. The selected text isn't printing white-on-white or anything like that. It's completely missing from the printout.

PDF produced by loading the sample URL, selecting one of the blog entries, and then printing selection. The only text actually in the PDF is the header & footer.

The black background may not be the actual trigger. There's a lot of CSS and javascript on this page.
