User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-GB; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/200505-- Firefox/1.0+ Crashes occur intermittently during puzzle play even without using the Save function. Sometimes an error message is generated. Other times FF just shuts down. Puzzles will not function with Java disabled. The puzzles function correctly with IE. Although each puzzle attempts to execute ActiveX when opened, I deny the request and the puzzle executes without it. See forum thread http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=270690 - users reporting problem have latest version of Sun Java installed Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Occurs during game play 2.Or when closing the game tab 3.Or when saving a game Actual Results: the crash occurs after the game is started. Usually this causes my Windows XP to generate an error message to Microsoft, and Firefox generates an error message as well. Crash module seems to be variable as sometimes Firefox will crash and generate an error message, and sometimes it just closes.

Helen, what version of the Java Plugin do you have? You can check by going to the Window's Control Panel, open the Java Control Panel, then under the General Tab click About. It should be at least build 1.5.0. I believe the latest version is 1.5.0 update 3. If you have an earlier version, please update from <http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/download.jsp> and click the "Download JRE 5.0 Update 3" link.

(In reply to comment #1) I have build 1.5.0_1 here and 1.5.0_2 at work. One of the other people who tested the site and suffered a crash (see the forum thread if interested - I posted a link) has the absolute latest version which may well be _3

I don't understand why this is a TE bug. It's not the site's fault that something screwy on the user's computer is causing a crash, and it doesn't appear to be a bug in Firefox either.
