Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.2) Gecko/20040804 Netscape/7.2 (ax)
Build Identifier: http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/

Able to download, start installation process. Used every browser I had to try to
bypass issue. First thing you will notice during the installation, when you get
to the Software License Agreement, there are radial buttons, but no text to let
you know what you are selecting. You pretty much just know to select the first
radial in order to proceed. When you get to the Setup Type screen, the text
looks jumbled but again, you can make a selection or the Recommended or Full. At
this point, if you select the full option it does advance to the next screen to
allow the selection of components, when you click Next, the setup generates the
nice Microsoft "encountered a problem" screen where your options are to Debug or
Close. So then you have nothing. No installation, no firefox, nothing. I thought
maybe I should unintall my older version and reboot my machine to see if I could
get further through the installation. Same issue every time. Now I have no
Firefox on my machine and I'm lost without it.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download from http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/
2. Start download exe file by double-clicking on the file you downloaded.
3. Click the Next button to continue the Setup.
4. Select the first radial button to advance, click Next to continue.
5. Select setup type and click Next.

Actual Results:
Encounter problems, can't debug, so only option is to close.

Expected Results:
Installed on my computer.
This sounds very much like bug 249067, please have a look at the screenshots in
that bug. Is it that what you see?

Also, does the solution in bug 249067, comment 6 help you?
