Some of our component names contained long dashes, copy & pasted from a MS rich
text email.  When an Opera browser user attempts to submit a bug against one of
these components or change an existing bug to one such component, an error is
returned to the browser prompting the user to select a component.

Works fine in Mozilla and IE.  Opera browser was v7.54 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a component with a long dash in its name (such as produced by MS word
or MS rich text email)
2. attempt to submit a bug against this component using Opera 
3. note error returned by process_bug.cgi

Actual Results:  
process_bug.cgi returns an error to the browser prompting the user to select a
component, even though one was selected.

Expected Results:  
Expect to be able to submit/edit bugs with long dash component names, as Mozilla
and IE can do.

Same thing happens (but with misleading message that I need to select component) when such symbols are part of entered comment.

WFM using Opera 9.60. Try upgrading your Bugzilla installation and/or your browser.
