User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux ppc; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050517 Firefox/1.0.4 (Debian package 1.0.4-2)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux ppc; en-US; rv:1.8a5) Gecko/20050518 Mozilla Sunbird/0.2

When I want to create a new event, either with a double-click on some day or via
the menu item "New Event", the mouse cursor becomes a watch and Sunbird
completely freezes.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch Sunbird.
2. Double-click on 27 May 2005.
Actual Results:
Sunbird freezes.

Expected Results:
The "New Event" dialog box should appear.

I can kill Sunbird with Ctrl-\ to generate a coredump. Unfortunately the
backtrace is broken:

(gdb) bt

#1 0x0fd2d8cc in pthread_kill () from /lib/libpthread.so.0

Vincent,
Can you try a trunk build of Sunbird and see if this is still a problem
there? Everything works fine for me.
The trunk build doesn't compile.

There are nightly builds available now for all of the 3 major platforms. Could you try testing this on one of those?

My machine here is a Linux/PowerPC, and the nightly build for Linux is only for x86.

We're sorry, but we don't have the bandwidth to support linux on PPC in Sunbird 0.2. Please try compiling a recent tree.
