I am using Java 2 platform standard edition Sun Micro Version 1.5.0_02-b09. I
tried yesterday also, same problem. This happens in my two computers with
Windows 98 and same Java. Windows and Java got the latest updates.
I am using Firefox 1.0.4 with latest updated Sun Java. Same crash happened in my
two computer using Windows 98.
WFM with latest Deer Park build on WinXP: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT
5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050819 Firefox/1.0+

Cc'ing some QA folks to see if they can try this out on a Win98 machine.

Arun: Have you been able to reproduce this again with the latest version of
Java? If not, I'm going to mark this WFM.
Everytime I try to do anything with the borwser it just keeps telling me that I have performed an illegal operation...EVEN when I tried to re-install Mozilla itself...Also the repoting of errors should be easier for ppl such as myself that do not know all of the technical pieces of the forms you have for us to fill out...It was hard for me to learn to use this and make any sense of the forms...they still do not make any sense to me

Ty for your patience

I'm closing this bug as INCOMPLETE due to lack of updates (though it could be closed as WFM per comment 5). Arun, if you're still seeing this with Firefox 2.0.0.3 or later and the latest version of Java, please report back here.
