I am pretty shure this is not a problem with ff and invalid. But you can still try a nightly build http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk/. Try it also with a new profile http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/profile .

does it worj if you open "about:config" (as URl), type "autodial" in the filter box and change the entry "network.autodial-helper.enabled" to "false" (double-click on the entry to change it)

it is ok for FF ver 1.0.4, DUN is now working without problem.
