If you have lots of pages in the history (I'm talking well into the thousands)
and you try to show the "Go" menu (which displays the last 10), the first time
FF will freeze for about 3-5 seconds (my CPU is over 2Ghz, and there's no
swapping). This is expected, though it could be improved mantaining a separate
list of the last 10 pages.

After that, if you click it again, the menu will show instantly. BUT once you've
shown it once, when you visit a new page, FF will freeze for about 1-3 seconds
every time, just when said page starts showing up (I assume when it is added to
the "Go" menu and the history). To avoid this, you have to restart FF.

This doesn't happen with other things that use the history, such as the History
Sidebar itself (even in "By Last Visited" mode, which shows every page - it
freezes when you pring up, but not on new page loads), and the address/URL
autocompletion.

I like having 360+ days of history and I never use the "Go" menu; but it's an
annoyance when I do hit it accidentally. Other than that, FF handles VERY well
thousands of pages in the history.
