User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4

I have used netscape browser since 1992 when I was at the university.
Then sitched to IE when IE became popular. Although I tried netscape
in between 1999-2000, 2002, but not seriously. Now I am back to business since
I found Firefox to be the most reliable browser so far.

My report is;
I don't know if I should call this a bug or a request.
I was disappointed with the installation procedure. That is,
when one chooses to change the installation directory, the installation
should allow one to change only the drive letter; either c, d, etc but instead
it ask you to rewrite the destination manually or browse to the location. This
is very bad. In other words it
forces those of us who do not have time to write all this long line to accept
the default destination. This apply to both firefox and thunderbird.
What I reaaly mean is when you use the custom installation it is suppose to
allow you to change only the drive letter without re-writing the whole path.
Browsing to a location should be an alternative of course. But It should
maintain the default path even if you choose custom. It should bring the path
along as all or many program installationn does. so that one can change only the
drive letter. But it does not maintain the path when you choose custom
installation and this is bad I think. I don't know if the developers have taken
a look at other installation programs or the just ignored it or ..... i don't know

Thanks
bashiro
