Bug 125998 is still wating for a fix for an issue that may be the same as this.

Or possibly a dupe of bug 292934. Reporter do you have session.histroy.max_viewers set to a non zero integer? Do you see the same behaviour on sites with fav icons as well as images? This is defently a dupe of one of these 2 bugs.

This appears to be a duplicate of bug 292934. I won't mark it as such until a response to comment #2 is posted.
browser.sessionhistory.max_viewers is set to 5, and yes I have the same problem with sites with fav icons. And also for example if I go to google.com, then yahoo.com, then click back, I get the yahoo icon for google.
