User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; fr-FR; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; fr-FR; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 Mozilla crashes hard and gives the following page fault message in Windows 98SE on May 28th evening EST (around 21:40) while attempting to load the Runescape min webpage. The site worked fine earlier in the day, I suspect either some changes or an advertisement placed in an iframe created the problem. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Firefox 2. Type www.runescape.com in the address bar. 3. Press Enter or click the Go button. Actual Results: Total crash of the Firefox application and Page fault message from Windows. Expected Results: Load the page normally, get me to slay assorted fantastic creatures, raise skills and barter various items in a virtual MMORPG. I can confirm the same bug when visiting www.tv.com (it seem to crash when trying to download banners/ads from the specific host ds.serving-sys.com). I worked around this problem by adding a mapping in my hostsfile of 127.0.0.1 for this domain, and now i can visit those pages without it crashing. However, the problem exists on several other sites that results in a serious crash of FireFox.

Please provide talkback IDs from the crash. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Talkback gives install instructions and the ID can be located in /components/Talkback.exe in the firefox directory.

Can either you reproduce this using Firefox 2.0.0.3 or later with a clean profile? If so, please comment to that affect and leave talkback IDs (see the link in comment 2) to help us identify this crash. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_Manager

I can't reproduce with Firefox 2.0.0.3 with a clean profile. Closing this bug as WORKSFORME. If you're able to reproduce with Firefox 2.0.0.3 or later using a clean profile and are willing to provide more information (like talkback IDs), please comment and provide info.
