I use Thunderbird 1.0.6 on Windows XP with two POP accounts. I can confirm
that clicking the "Get Mail" button only gets mail for the first account.
However, contrary to this report, selecting "Get all mail messages" from the
Get Mail dropdown menu, does get the new mail for both accounts.

This bug has some relation to #277179 (default action of "Get Mail" button on
toolbar is unknown). If the default action of "Get Mail" is to get mail for
the primary account only, then it's doing that correctly (in my experience);
but I would say that's unexpected behavior and the default action should be to
get mail for all accounts.
I agree, it should be the default to get mail for ALL accounts when you click the get mail button, thats how it works in every other mail client.

With several accounts and more than one set to be included in getting mail, seamonkey didn't use the primary account.
After I assigned only one account (with global inbox) to be included, it used the primary one instead of the assigned account.

Sorry, I forgot to tell that this behaviour occurs only if Local Folders is marked!
Seems to be a duplicate of bug 247661 and 125885.
