Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511

While composing an email message or response, the user is not allowed to run
the spell checker on the 'subject' line.

I am not sure why this is so. It would be very nice to catch my stupid
mis-spellings on the subject line, instead of only in the message body.

I believe this was allowed in older versions of Netscape.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. compose a new message
2. click over 'subject' line
3. notice that 'spell checker' is grayed-out.
4. click over 'message body' area, notice spell checker is not 'grayed-out'.

Actual Results:
Spell checker is never permitted while on 'subject' line

Expected Results:
Allow running the spell-checker on the email subject line, it would be nice to
detect/correct dumb typos in the subject line before sending.
Reporter: may I suggest you include "core" in the products when you search for
dupes in the future?
