I have an email account at www.mail.com. Frequently, but not always, when I log
in to get my email, a screen with the Quicktime "Q" appears, blinks rapidly for
a short time, then fills the screen. When I close it, it also closes Firefox,
regardless of how many tabs are open.

Note that this happens only with Firefox and only at www.mail.com. I suspect
you will have to create your own email address to duplicate the problem. I use
"usa.com."

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create an email address at www.mail.com, selecting usa.com for your domain
2.login in several times until Quicktime "goes nuts" on your screen
3.Close the full screen Quicktime

Actual Results:
Firefox closes

Expected Results:
Firefox should not have let Quicktime take over. Or at worst, not terminate
when closing a rogue Quicktime.

Feel free to contact me with any help I can give. In the meantime, I guess I'll
use (Gag me with a spoon) IE

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.

I deleted Quicktime and the problem is gone. You may close this issue... For now
