Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050515 Firefox/1.0.4
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050515 Firefox/1.0.4

The CTRL-Enter keystroke to enter www. .com does not work in the Macintosh
version of Firefox. Other autocomplete keystrokes such as Shift-Option-Enter to
input www. .net do work, so this seems like non-working behavior.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Type CMD-L to go to the URL bar.
2. Hold down the CTRL key and tap Enter.

Actual Results:
Observe that the www. .com extension are not appended automatically, and instead
it uses the first choice from Google "I Feel Lucky" search results.

Expected Results:
The www. .com extensions should be appended automatically as they are in Windows
Firefox.
The proper modifier key on the Mac is Command, not Control.

This was fixed on the trunk in February. It's working in current cvs builds, in
Deer Park a1, and will be working in Firefox 1.1.

Note that you don't need Option for www.*.net, it's just Shift-Enter.
