User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4

When displaying http://www.spiegel.de/, the right hand scrollbar of the browser
window gets buried underneath the ads on the page (depending on window
dimension, which obviously depend on screen dimensions...). The scroll bar
"arrows" become unfunctional, yet sometimes it is possible to drag the scroll
indicator directly to move tthrough the page. Often navigating through the page
becomes impossible. Opening links in tabs does work, and the scrollbar
occasionally works within the tabs, but the whole browser often stalls switching
between these tabs. currently it makes using firefox vs. Safari very unpleasant.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open http://www.spiegel.de/
2.resize browser window
3.

Actual Results:
right scroll bar gets buried underneath right advertisment column

Expected Results:
fully show scroll bar
I'm not experiencing anything like that. Could you produce a screenshot of what
you're talking about?
Reproducible with Mozilla 1.8b1 and 1.8b2/20050601 but wfm with Deer Park a1,
the visible part of the vertical scrollbar under the ad still works for me. The
horizontal scrollbar is missing when the window is made narrower than the ad but
wider than the content (see the first screenshot), this is reproducible with all
three browsers.

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
Thank you for your help in this matter.

The latest beta releases can be obtained from:
Firefox: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/firefox/
Thunderbird: http://www.mozilla.org/products/thunderbird/releases/1.5beta1.html
Seamonkey: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/seamonkey/
This could be a dupe of bug 44192.
spiegel.de has changed a bunch since this was filed and I can't reproduce on that site.

Can anyone still reproduce this using Firefox 2.0.0.3 and a clean profile? If so, please provide a link to a site this reproduces on.
