User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 the connection between my )at home) pc and Outlook Web Access's MS Exchange server is automatically terminated after a period of inactivity. normally (in IE) when I attempt to send an email I have composed, a pop-up sign-in box appears and I re-log in. the message is then sent. But FF doesn't appear to "save" the email while I attempt to relog in. It just gets lost. I can't even save it. As soon as FF reverts to the OWA log-in screen, the message I've composed is lost. This is really frustrating. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. from FF, go to https://webmail.champlain.edu 2. enter login: champlain/court and PW 3. take a few minutes composing an email. then try to send. 4. you'll get the login box, and whatever you composed, is lost. Actual Results: lost the email Expected Results: saved the eamil and sent it after logging back in to Outlook Web Access.
I've just lost another email and this is driving me crazy. It's enough to quit Firefox, though I think this is a great product. Heck, I'd even pay for it. Please, please, somebody, take a look at this. Contact me at court@chamnplain.edu

I can not login to that email server to test anything. This seems like the problem is with the webmail not keeping its own sessions itself not Firefox. Have reporter tried other borwser with this?
This bug hasn't been touched over a year. If this problem is still occuring, please reopen this bug. I'm resolving as WORKSFORME.
