Download Manager truncates file names at the first underscore when I download
attachments from my mail in Yahoo. I don't know if this happens with other
downloads as underscores are extremely rare in filenames.
Ironically, Greek file names or file names containing brackets show the Greek
letters as underscores even if the character encoding chosen is Greek. This does
not happen with IE, for example, which displays filenames correctly irrespective
of encoding chosen. The latest file I needed to download was called
ΑΛΕΞΙΟΥ[6].doc, which I saw as ________6_.doc
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Send yourself an email with a filename containing one or more underscores.
2.
3.
This problem has been there forever in the Mozilla line of products.
