Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; sv-SE; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050513 Debian/1.7.8-1
Build Identifier: Thunderbird 1.0.2, ast-ES.xpi 1.0 http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/releases/1.0/win32/xpi/ast-ES.xpi

The uuid string (which I thought was supposed to uniquely identify a package) is
the same for the four Thunderbird translations: ast-ES.xpi, de_DE.xpi, ko_KR.xpi
and sk_SK.xpi

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Unpack the xpi-files
2. Compare the uuid strings in install.rdf
3.

Actual Results:
The strings are the same !

Expected Results:
Use different uid's for different packages.

There is a howto on writing Thunderbird/Firefox packages at:
http://www.bengoodger.com/software/mb/extensions/howto.html
which includes how to generate a uuid.
Is this still an issue for current builds and langpacks? If not, then please resolve this bug as WORKSFORME. Thanks.
Builds wouldn't do that these days.
