User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 Browser correctly displays a printable page such as a stock trade confirmation from the Ameritrade confirmation site. The print preview page displays the textual information correctly, but drops all color shading. Color contained in bitmaps seems to be correct. Printing directly from the browser or from the print preview screeen results in a blank printed page with the exception of a header bitmap. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start browser 2. Login to an acout with auto report generation such as Ameritrade 3. Bring up a report (See post bug submission attachement #1: "As Displayed Article.jpg"). 4. Select "File->Print Preview" (See post bug submission attachement #2: "As Displayed by Print Preview.jpg"). 5. Select "Print" from the preview screen (See post bug submission attachement #3: "As Printed.jpg"). Actual Results: See attachements. Expected Results: Printout should be comparable with attachement #1.

This could be caused by the website definint a "print" stylesheet. This makes it so when you print a page it uses a different stylesheet and therefore the content appears differently. Providing a URL would allow us to see if this is the problem, of you could check the source of the page for something like <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="location..." media="print">. Note the media="print".
These types of pages printed correctly under previous versions of Mozilla (Ex. Mozilla 1.7.8)

OK. This is just a matter of going to File > Page Setup and choosing to "Print Background (colors and images)". Once you do that it should print out the page no problem. Once you get this working go ahead and mark it as INVALID.

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter.
