Reproducible: Always

1. Click "File > New Tab" to display the Tab bar.
2. Click a tab to select it.
3. Click the same tab a second time.
Actual Results:
A blue line appear around the tab

No change in the tab appearance

The blue line is a focus ring, which was put in by bug 280590. The screenshot
doesn't look like the default tab height. Have you modified the tab height in
userChrome.css or do you have a tab browser extension installed?

Yes, the screenshot is taken when I use a modified userChrome.css (Its actually
your work). But I reproduced the focus rings with a fresh profile as well.

So this focus ring is intended?
Cause in my opinion it dont look right! Neither Camino or Safari have something
like this...
Camino will (in 1.0), Safari already has.

Anyway, yes this is intended.

Then you see something I dont. Because I'm not able to get, imo misplaced, focus
ring on Safari's tabs!

But its your call, since you guys are the developers and I dont pay anything to
use it.

(FYI, try pressing tab in safari's search bar)

Verified!
But my grief against this is that the focus rings appear when clicking a tab
with the mouse pointer. Not using the Tab button...

Or is it user option to turn the feature off?

I think that this issue about focusing tabs that are clicked on is discussed in
bug 262253
