Looking at http://wiki.mozilla.org/L10n:Localization_Teams#Irish_.28ga-IE.29, there is a ga-IE team, at least for toolkit/firefox. Kevin, Brian, what do you think?

Yes, we already have an official Firefox translation, and are working CVS for the 1.1 release. See: http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/all.html Kevin, what's the status on Thunderbird?

Séamus Ó Ciardhuáin and I have been working on TB on our own for a few weeks now. About 2/3 of the translation is done already. I was planning on checking the files into the trunk maybe next week (after a bit more is done).

Ah great. Once its checked in we'll get ourselves listed here: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/l10n/mlp_otherproj.html#thunderbird Conor, if you are interested in becoming involved in the project, a good place to start is to join the mailing list: http://gaeilge.mozdev.org/list.html

Kevin doesn't own any l10n registration bugs, that's mlp-staff stuff.

Could we get a status report on this, we would like to branch for 1.1 late next week and want to deal with new locales by then. For the most part, and 1.1, that is.

(In reply to comment #6) > Could we get a status report on this, we would like to branch for 1.1 late next > week and want to deal with new locales by then. For the most part, and 1.1, that > is. - we're in CVS - about 80% string complete - plan to be 100% string complete in short time - would love a tinderbox/test builds to start doing some testing. Kevin will give you an update with more details.

Who is project owner for thunderbird then? Kevin? Who is peer? Basically, http://wiki.mozilla.org/L10n:Thunderbird_1.1.x_Status#Irish_.28ga-IE.29 and http://wiki.mozilla.org/L10n:Localization_Teams#Irish_.28ga-IE.29 should be up-to-date. To nag about tinderboxens just head over to #l10n and grab either me, gandalf or bsmedberg.

(In reply to comment #9) > > I've already nagged bsmedberg via email and I think we should be good to go soon > with this. We were added to tinderbox yesterday (and we were green last time I looked). And Brian's status report is correct, though it's unlikely we'll get to 100% before the branch deadline. Brian, it would seem to make sense for you to be peer on TB also, no?

(In reply to comment #10) > Brian, it would seem to make sense for you to be peer on TB also, no? Sure, I'll update the wikis later today when I get a chance.
