Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 (ax)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 (ax)
Whenever I click on a file - just for an example, I often download mpg files - I
will get prompted to either open with Windows Media Player or save to disk. When
I choose either option, the file downloads, and the DOWNLOADS COMPLETE box comes
up in the lower right corner - and then does not go away. I have had this in
Firefox 1.01 - 1.04 and I also duplicated it in Deer Park with a new profile.
Mozilla does not have this feature, so it is something unique to Firefox.
The only way to close the Downloads Complete box is to kill firefox.exe with
Task Manager, but then my settings, history, etc are lost.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Click on a file and Choose to Download it.
2.Wait until file downloads
3.
Actual Results:
The box does not close
Expected Results:
The Downloads Complete box should close, but something is holding Firefox in memory.
