When I have Quick Time 6.5 for WIN2000/XP installed on my computer Mozilla
Firefox will not show any web sites that use Flash. All I get is a blank page
with the Quick Time Simbol in the center. Note that IE Exployer will show this
page and does work with QT installed. After I uninstalled Quick Time and ALL
associated files and rebooted my computer I was once again ale to see web pages
that use Flash.

Wrongly installed plugins i suppose:
Have a look at:

http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/
Note that QuickTime can process Flash files too (older ones), that's why a
mime-setting can be found in the QT settings. You should check that it's off, so
that QT won't be trying to handle those Flash files.
This is wfm with both 1.0.4 and a trunk build.
