User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 Firefox says a plugin is needed, but it does not identify WHICH plugin I need to load. Have tried loading all the usual plugins, still not working. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Just visit the page 2. Click on install plugins 3. It doesn't come up with any suggetstions Actual Results: It doesn't come up with any suggetstions. This is a big problem for me because I can't use firefox with this page. Expected Results: Found the right plugin
The page itself tells you were to find the plugin with a clickable link: "If the words "Plug-in Installed" do NOT appear in the box to the right you need to Install the AMICAS Plug-in. Plug-ins expiring 31st December, 2010 now available!" Leaving this bug open for now so someone can decide if this plugin should be included in the Plugin Finder Service.
I try right-clicking on the "install plugin" but the window that comes up in Firefox does NOT help me install it. Is there a URL where I can download the plugin???
(In reply to comment #2) > I try right-clicking on the "install plugin" but the window that comes up in > Firefox does NOT help me install it. Is there a URL where I can download the > plugin??? Try just CLICKING the link?
I get a box with the comment "no suitable plugins were found" and "find out more about plugins and manually install . . ." that second link doesn't help either.
If i go to the page from the URL box https://ny168amicas.cpmc.columbia.edu/ slightly above the copyright notice i see a text "Install the AMICAS Plug-in" Clicking that takes me to: https://ny168amicas.cpmc.columbia.edu/amicas-client/setup/plugin/download_form-selector.html where i can chose which plugin/viewer i want to download. Nothing there about "no suitable plugins found" As said: this is only to solve your immediate problem. I left the bug open to decide if we should include this plugin in the Plugin Finder Service.
I don't get the same message above the copyright statement. I just get "Click Here to Download Plugin". And if I click on it I get "No suitable plugins were found" in a pop-up box. I followed the link you sent, and was able to download a plugin, but then it wouldn't install. Geez, what a drag. It's weird because the whole thing works fine in IE.

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter.
