Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4
Tried in multiple select-boxes on multiple pages and sites:
Select an option in the dropdown-box of a select-field. Make sure the
mouse-pointer stays on top of the option you just selected. Now use the
scrollwheel to move down the page.
The dropdown window 'detachtes' itself from the select-field and stays on the
same (absolute) coordinates while the rest of the pages (as expected) scrolls.
If you place the mouse pointer outside of the dropdown box and you scroll, the
dropdownbox of the select-field closes and the page scrolls.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to a select-field and open the dropdown box.
2. Move mousepointer on top of an option.
3. Use scrollwheel to move the page up or down.
Actual Results:
The dropdown box 'detaches' itself from the select-box and stays on the same
(absolute) coordinates on the screen.
Expected Results:
When using the scrollwheel, the dropdown box should be closed prior to scrolling
the page.
