User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 Upon start-up, error message pops up before browser loads. Error message is "Data source name not found and no default driver specified." After clearing error message, browser seems to run fine except that the same error message appears randomly during browser usage (i.e. error message appears even while not navigating to new pages). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Upgrade to version 1.0.4 from previous version. 2. Open browser. 3. Actual Results: Upon start-up, error message pops up before browser loads. Error message is "Data source name not found and no default driver specified." After clearing error message, browser seems to run fine except that the same error message appears randomly during browser usage (i.e. error message appears even while not navigating to new pages). Expected Results: No error message, or at least the error message should have been more specific so that the end user could readily identify the problem and self-correct the issue.

That is very likely a problem with an extension. Did you try using safe mode? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode
