User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 When updating an installed plugin, the following error message appears after downloading completes: "Firefox could not download <filename>.xpi because: Restart to complete" This error message is wrong, because the download was successfull, only a restart is needed. A "normal" user could be irritated by this message. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install a plugin (.xpi) 2. Update the plugin with InstallTrigger.install, while the plugin is shown on the same page. Actual Results: The error message appears: "Firefox could not download <filename>.xpi because: Restart to complete" Expected Results: A message like "Download successfull. Restart browser to complete installation." should appear.

This was fixed by the patch in bug 276006 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 276006 ***
